Anatomy Of The Singing Voice
http://www.afreesingingvoice.com/torontosinginglessons
.
In our singing lessons we learn how to make sounds with the vocal
cords ( also called vocal folds ) while allowing all of the other
muscles such as the tongue to release.
.
Once all other muscles and tensions are released, the vocal
cords are for the first time able to learn how to make all the sounds
it desires. They joyfully realize that it finally gets to sing ’solo’ for the first time!
.
The vocal cords now become free to learn, unrestricted by any other
part of the body which was trying to help, but was previously
getting in the way of your vocal freedom.
.
We’ll experience and discover this in our lesson, but for now enjoy the
illustrations below of the singing anatomy. We’ll refer to this in our lessons.
